Choose a red print fabric, a blue print fabric, and a bleached
white muslin for the background.
Cutting instructions:
1. From the muslin and the outer color (blue in my example) cut two 1 1/2 inch strips from the full width of a 44-inch wide fabric. If you are using fat quarters, cut four strips 1 1/2 inches wide. 2. From the inner color (red in my example) cut one 1 1/2 inch strip from the full width of fabric, or two 1 1/2 inch strips from a fat quarter. 3. Cut the following pieces from the 1 1/2 inch strips. All dimensions include a 1/4 inch seam allowance and can be cut exactly as specified. After cutting, stack the pieces for each row separately. Note, the colors specified are for my example.
